Precipitate DNA

1. Add 1/10 volume 3 M sodium acetate to 1 volume DNA. Mix well.

2. Add 2 volumes cold 100% ethanol to 1 volume DNA/salt mixture. Mix well.

3. Let mixture sit in -20 °C freezer overnight.

4. Spin 10-15 min. at max speed.

5. Carefully pour off supernatant.

6. Reconcentrate in desired volume of water.
